Anna Vissi sings at a charity concert in Glyfada

Anna Vissi stood out by far yesterday at the charity concert that was organised by the Municipality of Glyfada at the “Makis Liourgas” sports centre. It was a concert to help fellow citizens as there were no tickets purchased, instead people came with food and medicine which will be distributed by Glyfada Council.

The event started off with a small talk/welcoming by Vana Barbara and proceeded with many famous Panik records artists Dj Pitsi, Mike, Stelios Legakis and Boy and Noise!!

At around 22:30, Anna Vissi took to the stage with members of her band from Hotel Ermou and got the night going!!!  She presented some of the best moments from the Hotel Ermou’s show while the crowd below chanted the well-known “Anna we live to hear you sing”!!!

Anna Vissi sang for around 1h30 to a happy and in the mood crowd.  Furthermore, she was not afraid to tell the security to stand back so the crowds that had come to see her could sit as close as possible. As such, Anna, her fans and the band became one big group singing songs all together.

Towards the front rows were a group of children with Downs Syndrome and Anna, once again, showed her sweet side by going up and playing, singing and dancing with them!!
