Carnival Party with Anna Vissi at Hotel Ermou

The carnival could not end with a crazy carnival party at Hotel Ermou with Anna Vissi or maybe…..Liza Minnelli?

From early on, the Dj was there to warm up the crowd and to put the audience into a carnival mood.  Just before 01:00 the music stopped and the video wall started to show a video with Anna in her first career steps singing “Kapou iparxi i ayapi mou”. Following the video, Anna appeared on stage dressed as Liza Minnelli!! She began with “Erotevmenaki” and “Sinentefksi” and the night took off from there.  In the song “Lambo” she changed the lyrics around to say “san tin Liza lambo”, a play on words.  Around 02:00 she took a short break giving way to the Dj to spin the tunes!!

A few moments later, Anna was back on stage with blone rasta hair and a hat and did not allow people to sit down for one second.  She also asked the venue’s owner to hand out shots to everyone present.  The surprise of the night came when Nikos Karvelas came on stage to sing with Anna.  “I have found the love of my music life” said Anna, describing her meeting with Nikos.  They sang a string of songs together.  Nikos sang “Arrosta” following Anna’s requests as it is the song that the fannatics like the most and always ask for.

Of course, the competition could not go a miss from the evening for best dressed.  Firstly amongst the musicians…Priest, soldier, Super Mario, Zombie etc.  The audiences’ clapping would give the winner away.  And the winner…Anna Vissi!!! She then proceeded to find the best dressed audience member.  Her appearance ended just after 04:30 but the party did not end there.  People continued to dance later on into the night!
