Hotel Ermou - going out with one last bang!!
With one hell of marathon night which started shortly after midnight ending just after 7 am, Anna Vissi and her show at Hotel Ermou came to a close for the season!! With over 40 concerts in the space of 5 months and a consistent sold out Hotel Ermous…..we waved goodbye to our favourite night spot!!
Shortly after 12, Anna Vissi appeared on stage and she caught us off guard with a special acapella version of “Erotevmenaki” followed by the breath taking “Sinentefksi” The night continued well even if there were many emotionally charged moments!! And of course, her unique vocals did not go a miss!!
It was such a great year, as Anna said, and we have created such a magical atmosphere here at Hotel Ermou among Anna – musicians – audience….Such is the maigic that Anna Vissi made sure to keep the meeting for the same time and place next year for one more year of Hotel Ermou!!! “I will improve it a little, I will solve some problems with the visibility up hight” she said about the next season! “It is really hard to find a place and create such an atmosphere, even if there will always be people that complain!!
Among the audience, apart from her loyal fannatics, many famous people were by her side!! From Eleni Foureira, Konstantinos Argiros, Lena Papaligoura, Ioanna Pappa, and many more!! This is just small sample of people from the industry that were there at Hotel Ermou!! Of course, Anna welcomed Natasha Bofiliou on stage to sing a few songs!!
It would not have been the same if Nikos Karvelas was not there from the Hotel Ermou finale!! And of course, he would not miss a chance to get on stage with Anna…
At the end of the evening, Anna wanted to thank all the staff at Hotel Ermou as well as her band members. She wrote out a few words on paper which she struggled to read out properly, holding back her tears and emotion to read what she had prepared. As always, she said how happy she was this year to be at Hotel Ermou as everyone is “one big team! It is as if we are like a band and I am the singer of this band! This is always what I wanted!! Sitting down on the flooring, with her band she ended the night with an emotional “Gia teleutaia fora” and a fantastic rendition of “Erotevmenaki”!!!

The show concluded at 5:45 when most of the people had already left but…..whoever was able to last a bit longer was in for a special spontaneous party!! Around 6:00 am, some of Anna’s best hits started to play on the sound system and her musicians and band on stage started to celebrate the incredible run they had had this year. Hit after hit followed and the workers from Hotel Ermou joined in with everyone else until Anna, who had been in her dressing room up until this point meeting fans, came on stage to join in the part until 7 am!!!

On behalf of fannatics.gr we would like to thank Anna Vissi, Niki Vissi, Vasilis Simsirikis and the rest of the Anna Vissi team, George Morakis, and Hotel Ermou for the special offer they provded to the members of fannatics.gr….all that is left to say is that we are renewing our rendez-vous for winter once again at Hotell Ermou!! See you all there!!
PS…Yes, it was light when we left Hotel Ermou!!
