Sensational first night for Anna Vissi back at Hotel Ermou!!!

It was a very exciting couple of days for the fannatics of Athens!! On Friday 25/11 we saw the second premiere for Anna Vissi at the now well-known meeting point at Hotel Ermou and the party continued on Saturday also in the same fannatic rhythms.

Last year Anna Vissi left audiences in awe week in week out and became the talk of the town with her shows at Hotel Ermou. A small but friendly club, a new and original orchestra and a programme full of hits with the exceptional Anna Vissi proving she still has it!! If the first 2 days are anything to go by, the talk of the town will remain the same this year!!

The club has remained the same, as has her band, Anna Vissi has remained outstanding but the programme has slightly been tweaked or, as we like to think, fanatically improved.  Anna really delved into her discography to give us some real treats of songs that we had to hear for so many years now.  “Me agape Anna”, “Londino”, “Tie xo na xasw” and “Autostop” are some of the surprises she had in store for us.  It was a programme that really was made for her fannatics!! It gave her an opportunity to leave to rest some songs that we have heard over and over again in favour of some hidden gems!!

Anna seemed full of energy, rejuvenated, energised and with a constant smile on her face. She came out shortly after 12 and did not leave until 5 in the morning, with just two 10 minute breaks in between! A true legend, a true artist, singing for 5 hours without losing the slightest notes or beat as well as she passions for her music!!  Of course, this was also down to the audience who was with her non-stop throughout the 5 hour set, singing and dancing!

All roads lead to Hotel Ermou each weekend from now on!  A set full of surprises which will not let anyone sit down for a second!  We can’t wait for the rest of our winter weekends to be filled with a bit of Anna…
