Fantastic Premiere!
More than 6.000 fans were there to attend Anna Vissi's debut show for her Forbidden Summer Tour at Vrachon Theatre, Athens. Nobody could believe what they saw and experienced during the super-long 3-hour show!!!
Trying to think as a spectator (not as a fan) this time, I force myself to consider all the written messages, the e-mails I received, the facebook/twitter statuses and all the comments on the internet that have appeared after yesterday's show, and reach a conclusion. In just 3 words " Anna is Back " !!!
At 20:00 the doors opened, the theatre was crowded and the biggest fans managed to be in the first rows of the arena. You could see more people than at the Mad Video Music Awrads which were held at the same place, a few days before: the scene was some metres beyond its previous position and the place was set to receive more spectators.
It would be unfair to reveal the concept and surprises of this super show to those who have already bought tickets for Anna's next performances in other cities. I can't resist though to revealing that at around 22:00 the diva appeared in a unique way, while the set and the projections by the director Christine Crokos left me speechless... Yes, this beautiful Greek-American just does miracles! And this dancer she took from Timberlake and Aguilera, Jermaine Brown (that's his name), except for his choreographies, he is presenting for the first time in Greece... Digital Dancers? Shhh you'll watch it!!!
NiVo was also there, undecided between "Love and War", Alex Papaconstantinou offered us a new remix of "Apo makria ki agapimeni", that everyone wants and nobody has... and among the celebrities one could see Helena Paparizou, Antonis Remos, Natassa Theodoridou and Pamela's Tommy Lee!!!
I left the best thing for the end, searching for words to express my feelings! This woman, this Voice, this charismatic and talented creature that has been loved and adored, can't be compared to anyone when performing live! That's why she is the Absolute Star!!! She's like a fire on stage, she is living and breathing for this and she can rock the crowd, even the most demanding spectators! Her contact with people and her friendly and humorous attitude make everybody love her, and removes instantly any distance between the stage and the persons. She is there, such a star, but also so close to you that you think only the two of you interact at that moment!
Congratulations to all those that contributed to producing this magical night for us and this exceptional tour. Congratulations too for finding some time to devote to the King of Pop... That was a nice tribute! Adorable the forbidden Summer Tour!
Finally, let me say that I really liked the booth that was set at the area outside the arena, for Anna's cd and t-shirt sales, and the guys from fannatics, registering new members to the Official Fan Club of the Ultimate Star! Κeep Vissing fANNAtics!!!
