Anna's interview to Nikos Xatzinikolaou!
Anna Vissi was today invited to Nikos Xatzinikolaou's show on Real FM 97.8. She spoke sincerely and answered all questions without hesitating about working again with Nikos Karvelas, her collaboration with Sakis Rouvas, her personal life, her next business plans while of course commenting on the "war" which has started about her new song "Agapi einai esi" and....correcting Lakis Lazopoulos!
About her collaboration with Sakis Rouvas: "We gave it our all! We have good chemistry and energy, strong and although we have a different style it works! We dance up and down alot! It's a real party!"
About her artistic reunion with Nikos Karvelas: "At last! I needed it. Working again after 4 years. We are working feverishly in the studio with Nikos and the rest of the songs are ready. The full cd will be released at Christmas. Working together now is much clearer and I think we will deiver a very nice album."
About her personal life: "I'm single and loving it! I'm good being single and clear. If lonliness comes I can bear it, because I have spent years missing love and friendship. I am stupid in my personal life and when I fall in love I give it my all, I am a passionate woman..."
About the reactions to the lyrics of her song "Agapi einai esi": "When i heard the song, I dare say I was moved. Anyone has the right not to like the song. I'm watching on the internet these days because it's interesting to see, I smile seeing the people who bad mouth the song. I call this poetry. It creates opinions. When I first heard the song I liked it very much. That's how I am as a person. This reflects me, it's how i felt for the man I was absolutely in love with. I'm not like a teacher going out saying "Love is this...this and this". People exist who also feel like this. There are people who think like this, and there are others who just remain on the surface. Poetry is a freedom...and to put a conclusion to it, everything that is worthy will receive a reaction. There has been a few bad reviews but there has also been great reviews too! Karvelas never goes unnoticed..."
About the report by Lakis Lazopoulou to the song "Agapi einai esi": "He wrote the wrong lyrics. He wrote "ta sxismena ta tsigara" (the split cigarettes)...Let's correct it and at least say it right. It's "ta svismena ta tsigara" (the extinguished cigarettes", it's not the split cigarettes."
About piracy: "It makes you angry but you are defenceless. You say "I live in a country which cannot find a law to protect me?" It's a solution to distribute cds through the newspapers and this can help to prove how popular an artist is in the homes of the public".
About "Irodio": "I thought about doing a show with classic songs by Greek composers. That would be the programme at "Irodio" and I plan to do it."
About the real-life show, which will appear on Alpha: "What I'm doing, in America they call it a rockumentary and it follows the life of a rock star. That's how it will be...It will be about the life of an artist...not about the (personal) life of Anna Vissi. Through this I want to show my daily life. It's a biographical film which will be split into 10 parts and will feel just like a movie. Nothing at all like the other reality shows...
During Anna's interview hundreds of fans sent messages to the show expressing their love for her and sending in questions. Among the messeages was one by Ellai Stai, who wrote "Nice show today. It cheered me up. Kisses to Anna..." and immediately Anna suggested to Nikos Xatzinikolaou to do a show on tv with Elli Stai and she would be their first guest!
