Anna Vissi & Jean Paul Gaultier in Madame Figaro!
Finally the March edition of the magazine ‘Madame Figaro’, including the fashion shoot which Anna Vissi had with Jean Paul Gaultier in Paris, is being released.
Anna and Jean Paul were photographed in a suite of the ‘Plaza Athenee’ against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower with impressive results as Anna looks sexier than ever wearing unique pieces by the famous haute couture designer!
Anna spoke to 'Madame Figaro' about her supporters during difficult times: "During difficult times I take strength from 2, maybe 3 real friends who I have gone through life with, after a lot of testing. But sometimes people I don't know will take the time to send me a letter to tell me how much my songs have helped them in difficult times".
She also revealed what is her biggest desire in life: "The biggest thing I want to see at this moment in time is my daughter, Sofia, to be happy and complete in whatever she likes to do and is doing. Also that she can live out her dreams so that I can be proud of her.
On whether she would turn the clock back if she could, she said: "If I turned the clock back, I would probably find that I'd still be the same person now. I'd make the same mistakes, the same choices, I'd like the same music, I'd laugh at the same things and be scared for the same reasons. In short, I'd be the same person".
Explains why she and Jean Paul Gaultier are such good friends: "The thing which bonds us together is the mutual respect. We are from around the same generation, with lots of years of hard work on our backs, achievements which came at a cost, ups and downs. Down to earth people, without losing our enthusiasm for our work. Bold, brave and willing to take risks for what we feel inside us. Optimistic, restless, but not tired, say our friends at least. Jean Paul's greatest asset is his directness and his simplicity. He isn't stuck up, even though he is so famous, and he doesn't like celebrities who are".
Anna also stated reasons, which separates him as a designer: "Jean Paul Gaultier was the first fashion designer I loved and still every time wins my admiration with his endless talent and innovation which he dares to implement in the ever more difficult world of fashion. For me he is the most advanced living classic designer".
Jean Paul Gaultier also spoke to 'Madame Figaro' about remembering the first time he seen Anna sing live: "When I seen Anna for the first time on stage, I wanted to get up and dance with her. That's what Anna does, she wins you, she takes you with her and holds you. She is tireless, like a young child. She is strong like a true male and tender like the absolute female".
