Fannatics Party: The spectacular cake, Anna's crown and the apotheosis!

fannatics celebrated 5 years opening of fannatics.gr with a 6 hour(!) party at LAV @ Kentro Athinon together with Anna Vissi!

High spirits, racing pulses, passion, emotions and lots of surprises in a club packed full of fannatics, who didn't stop worshipping their beloved Anna for even a minute!

"What should I say first today? I'll tell you the feeling I'm feeling...It's like I'm singing at my home! In my bedroom, in the living room, in the kitchen...You are all my people, my relatives, my children, my friends, the best fan club! Are we really the biggest? Is it true we have reached 9,800 something members? How amazing is this! A bigger fan club doesn't exist! I haven't seen LAV looking more beautiful! Welcome everyone! Let's have fun! So 5 years old...You are babies, right? This is amazing for me! I hope to keep you all for lots of years, even as you grow older...

I love you all for lots of reasons...You obey the rules of a proper fan club...You are committed, you are loyal, you make time for me, you tell me your honest opinions...You are a little schizophrenic sometimes however...Over the years there has been songs you've hated, others you've loved! It doesn't matter...You may believe that an artist makes mistakes because of your different point of view, however when the artist believes that his point of view is right and it is what he dreams of then he is doing the right thing. You don't have to like it all, but all of them must interest you...I like that you all send me your ideas, I like twitter and facebook...Our communication is flawless!

And as a fan club you are loyal! You don't abuse other artists, with some exceptions, who we need to get rid of, to be good guys and break boundaries with our values!

Tonight is in honour of the composer of my songs, Mr Nikos Karvelas, who knows every little thing about his songs!

We also have the joy of hosting another great artist tonight, Mr Dimitris Papaioannos!

Are you all ready to have the most fannatic night of your lives so far?" were Anna's words when she first came on stage!

Anna's surprise for the fannatics was that she drew 13 people, who after the show got to meet her backstage and get a personal item of hers!

The biggest surprise however was the one which the fannatics had prepared for Anna! The spectacular cake, which was created by cake confectioner 'Konstantinidis', was shaped like a cushion with a tiara on top and was created exclusively for the fannatics party and Anna Vissi, who this year is celebrating 40 years in music!

And because after 40 years at the top with a constant presence in recordings and countless live performance, she is the only female artist who is entitled to the title of Queen Of Greek Music, the fannatics gave her a real crown proving that above all she is Queen of our hearts!

At the end of the evening Anna performed 2 songs with music by Nikos Karvelas and lyrics by Natalia Germanou, which she hadn't performed live for over 15 years!
