3 Korfiatika Theatre Awards for 'Daimones'!
3 Korfiatika Theatre Awards went to 'Daimones' on 17th June!
The 3 awards - from an institution with a history of 32 years - came as a natural yet symbolic culmination of the huge success, which recognises the work of Nikos Karvelas-Stavros Sideras, which was staged this year with Anna Vissi as the protagonist on the stage at Pallas.
Specifically, the famous Rock Opera won first place and the appreciation of the academy in the following categories:
- Best Production (Greek Theatre)
- Scenography - (Manolis Pandelidakis)
- Clothing (Deni Vachlioti)
As a reminder, 22 years ago, 'Daimones' won an equal number of distinctions from the institution. Back then the show was awarded with prizes for best musical performance, best song in a theatrical presentation and best sceneography just like today.
The repetition of the award is indicative of the requirements arising from the production level, the idea of Stavros Sideras, since 2 of the leading stage designers (Manolis Pandelidakis, Nikos Petropoulos) were recruited to create the scenes and both were awarded for their work.
As announced, 'Daimones' will continue for only 10 more special performances from the 9th October 2013, again at Pallas theatre.
The pre-sale has already begun on the site of Greek Theatre.
Don't miss out!
