Flashback: 17 years Travma!!!

16 April 2014

Gold in only 12 days, and three times platinum reaching sales of 150.000 records...

Anna's Vissi "Travma" - which is the 18th studio almbum in her career - was released in Greece and Cyprus on 16th of April 1997!

It's Anna's last record to be released on vinyl.

The album's cover remains a mystery! It should be mentioned that the cover for "Antidoto" - which was released the following year - was taken from "Travma's" photoshoot.

Watch backstage footage from the photoshoot:

The music and the lyrics of 12, out of the 15 songs included in the album, were written by Nikos Karvelas, whereas the top hits "Siga", "Na 'sai Kala" and "Apolyto Keno" were written by Natalia Germanou. A duet was also included in the album, "Se thelo me theleis", with the participation of Sakis Rouvas.

Three songs from the album became three successful music videos: "Travma", "Na sai kala" and "Mavra Gyalia"!

For the promotion of the album, OTE released a special series of phone cards featuring images from "Travma."
