N. Karagiaouris talks about his participation in "The Bells of Edelweiss"

Nikolaos Karagiaouris is one of the main characters in "The Bells of Edelweiss"! This is the second time he is working with Anna, Nikos Karvelas and Giannis Kakleas. The first time was of course a couple of years ago when he became the austere Inquisitor of Daimones.

In his interview at thebest.gr he revealed details of the new role he is about to perform:

- Mr. Karagiaouris, you literally surprised and amazed everyone in your role as Inquisitor of the Church in Daimones. Everyone made mention of your deep voice and imposing presence - because of your height as well! How was your cooperation with Anna Vissi and Nikos Karvelas, with whom you are working again this year for a new project?

«I am a man with a height of 2.05 cm, and this in itself is impressive. I know. In combination with my voice, and with the acting skills needed by each part I am playing, I was more than happy to receive such good comments for my Inquisitor. It was one of the best co-operations of my life, and I will never forget it. With Giannis' Kakleas directorial invision, and Anna's and Nikos' presence, success is inevitable! It was also important for me the fact that I drew way from the narrow limits of opera, and tried to do something a bit different - a rock opera! We are young people and we ought to evolve and try new things! I believe that what is happening with N. Karvelas' operas is something outstandignly new for the world of music. I feel honoured to be part of it!

- When is the new rock opera start? And what exactly will it be? What is your role?

«"The Bells of Edelweiss" will begin in January 2015, in the great big space of Pantheon Theatre. My role has a business mind, he wants to win money all the time - and power! As the name of the character reveeals - Cloud - I am a cloud, some times a bright one and other times a darker one!
