Anna Vissi The Greatest Greek Star: have a sneak peek at the new book!
The long anticipated book by Stelios Konteas which is published in celebration of Anna's Vissi 40 years in music industry, is finally here!! It is a book about Anna, written and published with her approval of course, but wihout her direct involvement.
The main reason of the publication - supported of course by Anna Vissi herself - was the fundraising element of it, as two very important fundraising institutions for children in Greece and Cyprus will get monetary support from the book's sales. More specifically, 3 euros from the sale of each copy in Greece will be given directly for the support of The Smile of the Child, while 3 euros from the sale of each copy in Cyprus and abroad will be given directly to Sophia Foundation for Children.
It is a very detailed and of high quality publication of 276 pages which includes a very specific selection of photographs - by famous photographers (who allowed the use of their images without copyrights in order to support the charitable purpose of the book), but also amateur prohotographers, Anna's fans who willingly gave their visual material from years 1996-2013.
The book re-publishes some of the most interesting extracts from articles found in newspapers and online sources throughout Anna's career, as well as the most important parts from Anna's interviews. There is also a special chapter with statements by famous people about Anna Vissi, and a full list with all the awards and prizes that she has received all these years.
The first special edition is not expected to be released in bookshops but you can order it online via the following website:(www.avthebook.gr). The price of the book is 29.90 euros including the shipping costs (for cities in Greece). The book can also be sent in Cyprus or anywhere else abroad.
Supporters of the publication are:
