Do you think you know everything there is to know about Anna Vissi?

1998
Album "Antidoto", (Triple Platinum) with 80.000 of sales in just a few days. From this album a fans' favorite emerged, "Gkazi".
'Ena chrono to perissotero' and 'Mi mou pathis tipota' are the two new duets of Nikos and Anna and are released in Nikos's album ('Ena chrono to perissotero').
Farewell show at "Asteria" nightclub (Athens) and at Pyli Axiou (Thessaloniki) in the summer, with singer Stelios Dionysiou.

The critics are applauding: "Anna Vissi once again impresses because she makes sure that her shows have plenty of theatrical details, many alternations, outstanding sets and many elements from foreign musicals, which she honors and appreciates. When the show ends, Anna leaves her "star" status behind and becomes one with the crowd, dancing with fans. The nightclub is remarkably successful and the audience goes wild when the performer sings her hits. At the moment ‘Asteria’ nightclub is the only entertainment proposal, working in a serious and respected manner without giving in to cheap and easy ideas." (Showtime 1998)

More than 5,000 fans are assembled at the biggest CD-store of Piraeus for the presentation of ‘Antidoto’! The roads may be full but Anna's road to success is wide and definite.
In a parallel event held in Thessaloniki Anna can't even reach the store because of the crowd gathered! The same thing happens in Patra.

The album 'Antidoto' is released without warning on the first day of April and the agitation that's created advertises the new album.
At 'Asteria', Anna appears dressed as Aliki Vouyiouklaki in her film "Aliki in the navy" and sings 'Trava Mpros' and 'Ta pedia tou Pirea'.
The music video of 'Ena chrono to perissotero' is shot at Hampstead, London, at a park near Nikos's house where he and Anna used to walk or just pass by while going to their home/studio.
She cooperates again with Apostolos Diavolikis who writes lyrics for the song "Pali gia sena" (they first met on "Klima tropiko", for the song "Parte ta ola"). There are many still claiming that behind the name is none other than...
For the first time in Greece, a CD containing an interview is released and of course from Anna Vissi, through Pop Corn magazine! Anna becomes the honorary president of an institution for children in Cyprus and with only one appearance (Telethon 1998) she raises 150.000 Cyprus pounds. In addition she sings 4 songs along with the Philharmonic orchestra of Moscow, including the amazing 'Gkazi', written by Nikos Karvelas.
Anna and Nikos are misunderstood once again. They are accused of being Satanists due to the dark artwork of 'Antidoto'.
