Do you think you know everything there is to know about Anna Vissi?
1973
Anna's first song is released in Yiannis Kalantzis's 7" single "O! ti kosmos mpampa": it's a duet with him entitled "Legontas ke klegontas".
Anna collaborates with the Cypriot composer Giorgos Kotsonis in his work "Ayia Tilliria", based on poems by Spiros Papageorgiou. Kostas Kamenos and the orchestra of CyBC participate as well. The Cypriot broadcaster supports the whole effort both financially and technically - Anna and the whole team tour in theatres around Cyprus, with their last concert given in the ancient theatre of Salamina, in August 1973. This work remains unreleased to this day.
She participates in the soundtrack of Giorgos Filis' documentary : "Grigoris Afxentiou, enas iroas me to mnimoskopio". The song has not yet been released, whereas the documentary won 2 awards at the Thessaloniki Film Festival (best production and best music by Vassilis Tenidis).

She covers three popular songs (one of them was "Krassi, Thalassa kai t' agori mou", the Greek participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 1974, composed by Giorgos Katsaros and Pithagoras, and sung by Marinella). Giannis Parios and Charis Alexiou also participate in these albums.

This is not of course the first time that this happens, as Nikos had previously refused to give Anna a famous ballad sung by Lefteris ("Ego den ime ego").
New outstanding duet for Anna and Nikos, the song "Metra", in Nikos’s album "25 ores".

2010
May 2010 and right after the end of Anna's successful performances in Thessaloniki, Dave visits her there in order to complete two projects!
Their first project is their video clip for their duet song "Leap of Faith", a song which seemed it would be part of a special project. The video was shot at the brand new The Met Hotel of Thessaloniki and was directed by Christine Crokos. Although the whole project started in 2009, we were informed about it by Dave Steward and his twits. "DAVE'S TWIT". However the leaked photos from the shooting of the video seem outstanding!

The second project by Anna and Dave was their mutual performance at the first ceremony of the Balkan Music Awards hold in Sofia, Bulgaria, where Anna was awarded for her Contribution to Development and promotion of the music from the Balkans and the award for the Best Video on the Balkans for the song "Stin Pyra". Anna's and Dave's performance at the ceremony was the big surprise of the night since they didn't just premiere their duet but also performed a rendition of "Sweet Dreams", the worldwide hit song of Dave with Annie Lennox.
2011
In January, following an invite by her close friend and designer Jean Paul Gaulthier, Anna Vissi went to Paris to watch his Haute Couture Show Spring/Summer 2011. It is important to note that this was the show that closed Paris Fashion Week.
The trip was combined with a stunning photoshoot/interview with the two and featured in the monthly Madame Figaro that was out in Greece in March!
We were treated to moments of Anna’s trip to the City of Lights with photographs taken by Christine Crokos. These were included in the 2012 limited edition of our beloved singer’s Best of (Access All Areas)

Τhe original plan was for a show with constantly changing guest appearances from some of Greece’s most influential women singers. However, in the process Anna seemed to have had a change of heart. She only wanted one specific lady. She therefore asked Mary Linta to appear with her in the “Dodeka” show at the Rex music hall in order to give it that sparkle from the past! This very special show started in December and the two serenaded us for a good few months in both Athens and Thessaloniki to the sounds of Manolis Hiotis. Anna is still trying hard to copy some of Mary’s impressive dance moves!
“How did this collaboration with Mary Linta come about?”
It was originally an idea of mine the thought of which really excited me. I could not believe that I would be standing on the same stage with a real legend that I grew up listening to and admiring. I am experiencing some very special moments when I get out on that stage with Mary Linta. It really is a true honour for me”

On the 19th November, we had the rare opportunity to enjoy the Vissi sisters together. In contrast to what usually happens, Anna was for this occasion, Lia’s guest invitee for a very different piano-voice concert. Their joint appearance took place at the “Michalis Kakogianis” Foundation during one of Lia’s 6 shows with various artists. Such an enjoyable occasion as you can see from the video that was taken from the Fannatics that were present on the night!
2012
The notable collaboration of 2012 was Anna Vissi and Nikos Karvelas teaming up with Playmen with the song “Den ine psema” which had considerable commercial success. The song was released as a digital single by Anna ahead of her string of appearances at LAV. In this, we also see Nikos Zoidakis contribution who went on to appear in Anna’s shows at Kentro Athinon.
The popular singer Demy and My Excuse were other acts supporting Anna at LAV.
