VOTANIKOS! There are no words to describe this show! Undoubtedly, it is one of the best performances of her career: a 4-hour concert, transposed to the Greek element of partying, innovative and prepared to the last detail. Great gothic set by Takis Kouvatseas (director), impressive choreography by Mia Michaels ("A New Day.... live in Las Vegas"), excellent foreign dancers (amongst them, Ruthy, one of Madonna's favourite dancers, and the third place winner of America's "So you think you can dance"), impressive trend-setting clothes and costumes, all contribute to a fantastic show and great communication between Anna and the audience! Anna's supporting acts are also a novelty as the Greek musical scene. Dimitris Korgialas, Goin' through, Despina Olimpiou and Lefteris Karvelas, all range between pop, rock and hip-hop and are not used to singing in such venues, something unconventional given that most "rival" night clubs in Greece typically have a folk character. If you ask the fans, they'll say it was the most enjoyable season ever. If you ask Anna, you 'll get the same answer!

20/5/2006 The ultimate apotheosis for Anna Vissi during the ESC final, at the OAKA stadium in Athens! The fans are there, and the whole Europe can hear it!
Iraklio: Anna visits the central store of Cosmote in Eleftherias square and the streets are closed down by fans waiting to see her! A bus driver stops the bus to see her, and she stays longer than scheduled in order to greet him and the passengers! The event is broadcasted live by radio.
This time, the music video for the Greek entry is discussed both in the Greek and the European Parliament! That, after all, is the difference between divas and mere mortals!
Concert at Pancretion: Anna's friend Manolos Kontaros dedicates a traditional cretan song to her. Anna sings "Itane mia fora" by Nicos Ksilouris, touching everybody in the audience.

"Everything", Anna's new cd single, is released in Sweden by the local branch of SonyBMG and enters the official sales charts! It's a significant success, since the song stays in the top50 sales chart for 2 months, peaks at #7 in the Swedish music Control and enters all the radio airplay charts of the country! At the same time, "Everything" and "Nylon Euro Edition" are released in many countries worldwide (Germany, Finland, Switzerland, Austria, Ukraine, turkey, Taiwan etc.) proving the big impact that Anna's performance in the ESC had.
5/9/2006 Anna gives a charity concert-dinner at the gardens of the home of the Cypriot Red Cross's President, Ms Fotini Papadopoulos. The net revenue of the event was offered to the Cypriot Red Cross, to cover its multiple needs.
28/2/2006 Anna gives a revealing interview to Giorgos Kapoutzides and Zeta Makripoulia, during the tv show "Feel the fun" (NET television). The interview takes place at Club 22 in Athens. The placed is stuffed with fans, hours before Anna’s arrival. The result is a very touching and emotional show, since the hosts and the team preparing the show have many surprises for Anna: a visit to Cyprus with her daughter, a tour in places she used to visit when she was younger, an interview with her parents and relatives on the island, memories from her past and various celebrities wishing her good luck at the contest. The shooting for the tv show lasts for more than 4 hours, but despite the exhaustion, Anna is very friendly towards the staff, the audience, the fans and the hosts of the show...
