Do you think you know everything there is to know about Anna Vissi?
The song "Paramithi Xehasmeno", one of Anna’s most melodic and beautiful first songs (composer: Stavros Kougioumtzis), is now part of two Korean compilations! In Korea, the whole album consists the soundtrack of a TV series!
Anna’s live cd ("Live!") re-enters the TOP50 of the official IFPI albums chart in 2002!
It seems that Anna and television get along well! Anna presents a new Christmas show for ET1, this time with actor Thanos Kallioras. The most important guest is the three times winner of the Eurovision Song Contest, Johnny Logan! They sing "Dodeka" and "Hold me now" together, each singer's most important ballad! Anna’s daughter Sofia is also a guest in the show.
"This year I may have not walked the streets of Plaka dressed as a pupil like I did in 1973, but I came back after 20 whole years, carrying a bag full of songs, sounds, happiness and bitterness, applause and many people who have believed in me, supported me and loved me, rewarding my effort in this way."Anna's note on the "Live!" album
1994
In December she takes part, along with Nikos Karvelas, in an event in Piraeus entitled "Fashion 1994 against AIDS", which is presented by Petros Kostopoulos. She sings christmas songs, songs from her album "Re!" and an unreleased duet with Karvelas, which they dedicate to AIDS carriers. All proceeds from the event were donated to the Athenian hospital "Sotiria", to create the first wing in Greece for HIV-positive patients.
"They say one travels to discover a new place. I might have travelled to discover Greece at the end... Some may be surprised listening to these songs, some may say this is what they've always wanted. I empathize both emotions, having the strongest faith of all....Anna's personal note on "Re!"
Comments
Anna and Nikos leave Greece and rest in their favourite city, London. Back to Greece plenty of rumors are spread about them as usual - they even say they are dead! As always the couple’s answers back with a brand new album...
1995
She sings the vocals for Lefteris Pantazis' hit-song "To oreotero plasma", included in his new album "O pektis", entirely composed by Nikos Karvelas. Anna has a dispute with Nikos, as he refuses to give the song to her, for her personal albums. This is not of course the first time that this happens, as Nikos had previously refused to give Anna a famous ballad sung by Lefteris ("Ego den ime ego").
New outstanding duet for Anna and Nikos, the song "Metra", in Nikos’s album "25 ores".

Nikos Karvelas writes the song "Eleni". It is dedicated to Eleni Karkanta, one of Anna's fans, who died of anaemia. Anna's relationship with this girl was very close ever since she was informed of her health problem. A very important moment for Anna's relationship with her fans, a very important song in her career.
